1. Will BHS be playing Adelaide again any time soon?
Submitted by Ben McCarthy.
When will you guys be coming to Perth again? I caught you guys when you came with Centipede & BBK - it was the best gig I have been to in a long time.
Submitted by Jodie.
Yes, BHS will be touring both Adelaide and Perth before the end of the year! Dates will be on the website as soon as they are confirmed. The current plan is for October.

2. Does Polley write any BHS songs? Or does she mainly blend her guitar into Greg's? Does she front her own band? Do you sing etc?
Submitted by Steven.
Greg brings his songs to the band at which point everyone will jam, criticise, praise, tear to pieces and rearrange the material. Each member of the band has their own influence on the songs. Carolyn (Polley) used to play guitar and sing in Sydney band, The Dutiful Daughters. Carolyn also sang lead vocals on a cover of The Carpenters' song, Superstar, on the first Big Heavy Stuff EP, Pops Like Crazy. She still contributes backing vocals live and during recording.

3. I have a copy of the Dutiful Daughters EP A Superfluity of Nuns in mint condition. Am I sitting on an absolute fortune?
Submitted by Laszlo G.
Considering that it's extremely hard to find these days, it's at least highly collectable!

4. Will you release your cover (with others) of Bjork's Hyperballad? I heard it this morning and I really want to hear it again!
Submitted by DDWonderboy.
There's a small chance it might be performed live at some stage, and we can only hope JJJ will release it on a future "Like a Version" compilation.

6. Hi, we're an upcoming sydney based all female band. We're looking for support spots, can we send you a copy of our demo?
Submitted by Gelfling
Demos can be sent to Big Heavy Stuff, PO Box 518, Hazelbrook, NSW 2779. However, it must be understood that supports are decided by management and booking agents - not just the band.

8. I'm not sure what your policy is on Ups and Downs questions... Anyway, I heard The Living Kind on the radio yesterday and I want to know where I can get the first Ups and Downs album on disc?
Submitted by David
The album you refer to is actually a 'mini-album' entitled "Sleepless". It features the songs Traeh, Sleepless, Heart, The Living Kind, Alarming Situations, Solitary Man, Where is the Sun? and Travelling. It is only available on vinyl and is difficult to track down. There is, however, still the possibility of a future CD re-issue of "Sleepless"...
